Cord Keepers - Funner to look at than plain tubes, and safer, too! Do you worry about your cords and tubes at night? Does your loved one have multiple tubes that somehow seem to always get twisted and knotted up? Does your child wake up in the morning hopelessly tangled in his or her tubes? Are you just plain tired of looking at boring tubes all day?

---

This Cord Keeper is for narrow cords and tubes like Gtubes, TV tubing, oxygen tubing, etc.  We have a separate item called WIDE Cord Keepers for wider tubing like ventilators, CPAP, etc.

---

Our Cord Keepers help keep lines away from curious fingers, help reduce occlusion, reduce the risk of entanglement at night, and are just plain fun. They may be pinned to clothing near stomas or entry sites or to legs or feet of pajamas, but should not be pinned to collars. Many caregivers use these at night to tuck cords along the side of the crib or bed. They've even been known to make grumpy children more accepting of their various tubes.

Cord Keepers will hold 1-3 IV or feeding tube-size tubes. (It's worth noting, we've changed our Cord Keepers in spring 2019. Our older Style Keepers only held ONE tube. After hearing feedback from caregivers that they wanted a bit more room in the Cord Keepers, we've switched to a slightly wider design that's also easier to get on and off the tubing. If you prefer this narrower style, please use our separate Custom Made Cord Keeper listing and let us know at checkout that you want the OLDER style.)

Cord Keepers close with high-quality KAM snaps located every four inches along the length. Tubes can enter and exit the Cord Keeper at any point.

How do you know what length you need?

It depends entirely on your intended use. Got a small tubie who wears his pump in a backpack and wants something fun covering the tube as it goes from backpack to belly (or backpack to port)? The 12 inch size will probably work great. Got a tubie who keeps her feed on a wheelchair pole? Depending on how far away she is from the pump, the 23" or 35" sizes would be perfect. Want something to stretch along the length of your tubing? Get a 41" or 60" length! The best way to decide what will work best for your needs is to actually measure the length of the tubing you want to cover.

Please use common sense when using the Cord Keepers. Do Not attach to the patient's collar. Keep exhalation ports uncovered. Completely remove Cord Keeper when doing any maintenance on the lines - connecting or disconnecting IV tubing, for example.

Please note that some photos show the Cord Keeper along with a matching Feeding Pump Bag Cover or a Button Cushion. This listing is only for the cord keeper.
